Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival to Cairo
Arrival to Cairo airport, our representative will meet you in the airport then you will be
transferred by an A/C car to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2 Cairo Tour
Breakfast. Start your full day visiting the Egyptian Museum of antiquities. On display is
a rare collection of 5000 years of art the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art
in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated
to the Tutankhamen collection of treasures, gold, and jewelry, as it was enclosed in his
tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was
excavated. Visit the Great Pyramids – Cheops, Chephren & Mykerions. Cheops is the
most colossal ever built. Next is a close-up look at Sphinx ? a huge funeral complex
guarded by the legendary lion body with the face of king Chephren.
Over night in Cairo.
Day 3 Aswan
Breakfast.Early Transfer to the domestic airport.Departure by the plane to Aswan.
Start your full day Tour: High Dam-Temple of Philae Island Excursion drives to the
High Dam. After its visit proceed to the Granite Quarries, and Old Aswan Dam for a motor boat excursion to the Temple of Philae Island.
Overnight in Aswan.
Day 4 : Abu Simbel-Aswan Tour
Breakfast. Transfer to Abu Simbel by air-conditioned vehicle, The two Temples of Abu Simbel ,
with their unique style, are considered to be the masterpieces of ancient Egypt. They reflect
the glory and grandeur of the new Kingdom.
The Egyptian government and UNESCO decided to co-operate in order to save these temples
from the flood. The Temple of Ramsses II was dedicated to the four universal gods Ptah,
Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and to Ramsses II himself.
The great Abu Simbel temple is also called The Sun Temple of Ramssess II.The Temple of
Queen Nefertari is also Called Temple of Hathor who was the wife of the Sun God so in
a symbolic way, the two Temples, that of Ramsses II and that of Nefertari, bring Ramesses II,
Nefertari, Hathor and the Sun God together as one.
Then move to visit High Dam-Temple of Philae Island Sail to the island of Agilkia.
Visit the temple that was removed from their original island of Philae which lies
submerged most of the year by the waters of Lake Nasser. The main Temple of
Isis and its monuments were built between the 26th-dynasty and the Roman period.
Return to the mainland and drive to Aswan for a view of the high Dam which was
completed in 1964. From here you can gaze across Lake Nasser. Overnight in Aswan.
Day 5: Edfu, Kom Ombo – Transfer to Luxor
Breakfast. Drive to Edfu, you will be transferred to visit the majestic temple dedicated
to Horus which is considered by most to be the best preserved cult temple in Egypt.
According to the Egyptian myths, it was the place where the falcon-headed god
Horus revenged the murder of his father Osiris by killing Seth.
Then transfer to see to the Temple of Kom Ombo standing on high grounds overlooking
the Nile. It differs from other temples because of its double entrance, each one is
dedicated to divinity: “Haroeris” with his falcon head and ” Sobek ” with his crocodile head.
The Temple of Kom Ombo was built on the honor of two deities the crocodile-headed
Sobek, god of fertility and creator of the world, and Haroeris or the ancient falcon-headed
Horus. Also, Kom Ombo’s importance lies in its huge sugar-cane.
Then move to Luxor.
Overnight in Luxor.
Day 6 Luxor
Breakfast. transfer to visit The Temple of Karnak & the Temple of Luxor.
Excursion to the Luxor Temple to see its courtyard and the granite statues of Ramses
the Great Proceed by bus to Karnak, which is a serious of temples built in different reigns.
Starting by the Avenue of Sphinxes visit the Unfinished Propylon, the Hypostyle
Hall with its 134 gigantic columns, the Obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Tutomosis III,
the temple of Amon adorned with lotus and papyrus designs, the Granite Scarbeus of
Amenophis III and the Sacred Lake.
Then move to visit Luxor Museum. After that transfer to your hotel.
Overnight in Luxor.
Day 6: Day Tour to Abydos & Dendera
Breakfast. First, visit Abydos, the ancient Egyptian believed of god (Lord of the underworld)
to be buried there. The temple was built by King Seti I, and completed by King Ramsess II,
known as temple of Seti I. It is located in Abydos city about 420 km to the south of Cairo
in Sohag Government, and 135 km from Luxor . The paintings of the Gods and Pharaohs
on the walls of the Osiris Temple at Abydos are among the most beautifully preserved in Egypt.
Then continue to Dendera to visit the Temple of Hathor, goddess of love and joy.The
temple is located in Dendera which is situated at the north of Luxor .
Transfer back to your hotel.
Overnight in Luxor.
Day 7 Luxor
Breakfast. Start your tour visiting Valley of the Kings, the magnificence of the grandeur
of architecture which was used for burial, there are many kings buried in this valley.
You will visit 3 tombs excluding Tomb of King Tutankhamun.
Move on to enjoy the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by Queen Hatshepsut,
daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty
(approximately from 1490 to 1469 B.C), the only pharaonic woman who reigned ancient Egypt.
After that move to visit the Valley of the Queens.
Then move to visit the temple of Ramses III (Medinet Habu).
You will stop by the Colossi of Memnon for about 15 minutes.
Transfer to Luxor airport and departure by plane to Cairo. Arrival and transfer to the hotel.
Overnight in Cairo.
Day 9 Departure
Breakfast at the hotel our representative will transfer you to the airport and
assist you at the airport through final departure formalities
